What is a PVC-coated gabion box?
A PVC-coated gabion box is built from steel wire that is first zinc-coated and then covered with a PVC layer. The added layer is intended to give extra protection in environments where bare zinc-coated wire may be a concern, for example where the water, soil or atmosphere is more aggressive. Whether PVC coating is justified is a design decision.
